Just saw this diagram from 3 people who were hanged...

Their hearts continued to beat for many minutes(over 12) after they were hanged, apparently this is normal..Why does suicide have to be so hard?.. and these were long drop hangings, I thought death was supposed to be quick with this method.. looks like a shotgun is my only remaining hope.

I am down to 2 possible methods...a shotgun to the head, or decapitation using a car and a hanging rope.. But I'm afraid of messing those up too, and ending up in worse shape than I am in now... I'm basically afraid of everything, which is the source of all of my problems... I really want to die so bad, but I'm afraid I'll never be able to get the job done right.

Yea nooo, that was my original method Full suspension for Saturday so friday night after i had my set-up i tested it out on Partial suspension and it was horrifying, it was choking me more than fainting me so i changed to the Night Night, SN or CO much more peaceful and less of a traumatic scene for the one who finds you... Hanging is just meant to be a desperate solution i think... Too much room for error and its very unpleasant i want my final moments to be of peace not despair.

Well... I would say don't mistake heart rhythm for pain necessarily. Or suffering. Your liver has some of the longest lasting cells after death- hours in fact. And remember, you are completely unconscious and (hopefully) obliviously to any pain or discomfort during surgery.....

I'm getting real scared that I won't ever be able to CTB.. I've been researching failed shotgun suicides, and there are plenty of failures using this method also.. this is depressing me even more than I already am....I really want to die ASAP

I think a significant amount of accidental deaths seem to occur with alcohol and being close to water. But maybe a pharma cocktail might be better.

If you use the shotgun with a noose around your neck... Pretty much a 100%...

even though most suicide methods are quite "human" compared to natural deaths the perfect method doesnt exit

I've gotten the police called on me for similar things before. I live in a fucking surveillance state so I don't want to get into even more hell than I'm in now. I'm here to gather info for my own exit, it's selfish, but all humans are and you would be in my shoes as well. I have an extreme chronic pain and I don't want to risk getting imprisoned with this condition. There are plenty of other users here that are willing to give you the info that you need and that know more than me.

Even shotguns can end up just blowing your face off, have you end up as a vegetable, and/or leave you paralyzed. Then there's no way to ctb, horrible shape yet you're crippled and can't do anything. I wish physician-assisted suicide were legal

I believe in some countries you can ask to be taken off life support in such situations.

Most of the people shooting themselves aren't doing it right. Putting a low caliber gun under your chin, in your mouth, or to your temple is just asking for trouble.
