Weighing SN?

How are you supposed to weigh SN? Weigh a ziploc bag, then put SN into and weigh again subtracting the weight of the bag? Or is there a better way?
Also, how precise does the scale need to be?

Any light container will do the job. You need at least 0.1 g precise weights. I bought those grey chinese pocket weights that everyone seem to have.

I put a glass on kitchen scale, press "tare" button and then place Sodium Nitrite into the glass as long as I see 25g on screen.

If you are in the US, 25g of SN is one heaping tablespoon, or three heaping teaspoons - the measurement spoons, not the ones to eat with (not talking down to you, some people don't cook and don't know the difference).

Appreciate the info, I've seen some people talking about tablespoon measurements on other posts and I'm one of those people who don't cook so I thought they were talking about regular tablespoons. Didn't know there were measurement ones. Thanks!
