there's a large population of users who collectively share the same sentiments on anti capitalism.

plenty of users who failed to receive medication due to financial or insurance based issues

plenty of users tired of spending 80% of their day at a mind numbing job with no time and energy for soul searching, social interaction, hobbies, you name it

plenty of users affected by the greed of capitalism in ways that i have yet to hear of

our belief that we have nothing left to lose can foster powerful acts of spreading awareness in our irl and online communities

think joining a socialist or anarchist collective near you and speaking on your degradation under capitalism. including the socioeconomic state of the country as a reason in your note. etc etc.

such acts could propel forward the reality of mental illness existing as a result of an injust environment, rather than some chemical imbalance or innate deficiencies within the individual. it is time for the 1% to be bombarded with the truths of their beloved system.

I wish I could as I hate how we all get exploited by the system but, unfortunately, it's no use trying to protest or ask for a reform as power increases with numbers and many people are content with being a wagie. Reformation can only happen if many people protest and fight for a better change but the issue is that many people enjoy their life as it currently is. Many people also justify anything bad in life by saying "that's just life". Society is absolutely cruel and I want no part of it

Honestly, I'm too busy working to join any sort of club but yeah, sometimes I wonder what I'll leave in a suicide note. This lyric by the late, great David Bowie will very likey be going in:

'Life wasn't worth the balance.'

it starts with planting a mere seed in someone who hears your story or you share your sentiments with. you don't have to be part of a collective to be an example to the people around you.

Only if you use the term anti-capitalist, aka anti-cronyism, in the way market anarchists do.

Capitalism isn't perfect but it's probably the best system available to us currently. I'm always a bit leery of shitting on it because I would never want to live in a regime like Russia or China. It's what allows us to get ahead (if we're lucky) and accrue wealth (if we're shrewd).

As I see it, the problem lies more in the deviation from sound money. When we went off the gold standard, it was over. We started bleeding purchasing power year over year, which has given rise to the issues we see described in the OP (ie. working like a dog and getting nowhere). Wages haven't kept up because the fat cats will do everything in their power to preserve the biggest profit margins. And if they feel that people will work for peanuts, they have no incentive to boost wages.

Still, we absolutely do need affordable healthcare and education. Those, along with a return to real money, would be my ideals.
