I have prestone windshield de icer. The can says it contains ethylene glycol ( 197-21-1) and methanol (67-56-1) plus carbon dioxide 124-38-9). It gives a warning that if swallowed it could be fatal or cause blindness. What are your thoughts on this, would it be fatal if ingested?

Too dangerous too risk it!!!
Most likely it will end with (temporaryly??) organ problems and you will be blind.
And there is the vegetable question for your brain after swalloing that stuff. And you don't know what other chemicals are inside that mix.

EG and methanol are both fatal to humans but you will spend your last hour in pain and vomiting like crazy. Be aware that if you fail, the you risk blindness, kidney damage and brain damage for the rest of your life.
