My dad called me on the phone and said "are you still going for a walk? If so, could I join you"
I said yes
He and I walked for a while. We talked about how I'm doing, ways he can help me prepare for work (making me my lunches) etc. He also said I'm his favorite, which I don't like as it gives golden child vibes and it takes away from his responsibility for how fucked my brother is. But I didn't comment
For now, I'm thankful he's willing to help me manage for my upcoming job. And he's willing to help me look for a studio and pay for it
He also wants to help me with exercise so I can lose weight (I'm still trying to)
Even if I go no contact down the line, this will be a good starting point for me to be on my own
I still haven't spoke to my friends yet or been on social media much. I think it's for the best
