• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

For Australian viewers. BOC Gasses supplied the food grade size D cylinder of N2 $55.00 per fill. It contains approximately 39CU feet of N2. This leaves plenty for rehearsing and testing and plenty (about half) for the gig. I purchased the N2 regulator beverage gas regulator from BOC $220. Rental for the cylinder is $140 per year. My exit strategy will be when I lose my license to drive thus, my independence. I have set it up now for this event at some indeterminate time in the future. Hopefully, I'll get an aortic heart valve replacement next April. I'm 83 in April. I set up an account with BOC online. Did my purchases and a gormless young man assisted me to load it all behind the front seats of my Corolla.

I think you got it covered, thank you for this information. Especially loved to the music and production values of the video.🤗 (I'm much younger and couldn't accomplish that ☹️).

I'm glad you liked the production. so many help videos on YouTube spend far too much time on promotion and not getting straight to the point. I was a stage tech in live entertainment and I can't stand boring long intros and speeches. I used free software to strip the vocals out of a popular song from the sixties 24 Hours from Tulsa.

I am not smart, just experienced. I used my iPhone and Cyberlink editing software on the PC. For the music I used freeware https://vocalremover.org/ to strip the vocals from 24 Hours From Tulsa. I played the stripped vocal version into Audacity and exported it to a file for later use in Cyberlink. There was very little video editing - just topped and tailed it and did a screen shot of the exit bag for a playout. In a previous life I was a live performance stage and production tech specialising in AV. I enjoyed making the video and thank you for the compliment

I'm not smart, just experienced in live events and live theatre production. I'm also an ex roadie back in the Yellow Brick Road era. Thank you for the praise.

Cyberlink for the video editing software on my PC. The music was the most complex part. I recorded the track from YouTube into Audacity Audacity and then uploaded to https://vocalremover.org/ to strip out the vocals. My iPhone was the camera. Topped and tailed the video from the iPhone and did a screen shot of the exit bag for the playout using George Lucas's idea for the text scroll. I enjoyed doing it.
