I would check out the Resources here, specifically the uploaded copy of Suicide and Assisted Suicide by Geo Stone. It is an out of print invaluable resources IMHO. It's a little old, but the chapter on Drugs and Poisons is very helpful. The entire book is interesting just as a think piece, so I would recommend that and second @Cleopatra123.

true..valium 500 mg is used in some combinations of drugs (to ctb) just to keep you in sleep for good time. you need other lethal drugs to make it effective. so, i think this dose has grim chances.

Here's what ppl use to die "by accident", although I really question if many of these are really suicide instead of just accidental od.
Especially since men increased more.

Sorry mate, modern "sleeping pills" only kill people in movies. You can take a herculean amount of benzos and only sleep for a day or two.
