"Vacation" to the US only for ordering SN and CTB (no citizenship)

So I kinda have no idea how the world works when it comes to relevant policies/laws, hence this possibly dumb question.

Let's say that I have citizenship in a country other than the US, one where SN might be harder to import. Is it possible to fly to the US for a non-visa reason (like as a vacation), order SN there, and CTB there? I have a feeling that plan isn't so simple, but maybe it is. I guess a plane flight would be odd financially, and maybe this kinda plan is overkill, but this is more of a last-resort scenario. I just want to know if it's possible, and maybe other options for someone with citizenship in another country that wants to use SN (that has trouble importing it).

I think if you stay in a hotel/motel you can just ask them if you can have a package delivered. I would think they would allow this. I reported above comment on another post. Good luck with what you decide to do.

AFAIK, SN may be an option at a hobby store. Otherwise, there is the dubious gun show loophole. I hope you don't have to go through with this and wish you a pleasant stay regardless. Be sure to research the laws and cost-of-living in the state you intend to visit.

If you plan to order the SN from the "global all-incompassing massive online retailer" (in the US at least) you can have the package delivered to a locker. These lockers are everywhere, most grocery stores, hardware stores, corner 7-11 type stores and are an excellent way of having a package delivered without having a physical delivery address or a snooping person. When you order just select the locker option. They all have cute names like "Betty", "Joan", "Karl" and you can select one in the area you are staying. Then when the package is delivered you receive an email with the code and then have a couple of days to pick up the package. No interaction with another person. However, if the vendor happens to require a signature then there may be an issue. But I regularly have packages delivered that say a signature is required and I never have to actually sign for it. I think that if they send the code to your email then it is considered secure since no one else can pick up the package.

Three precautions.

1. Buy a round-trip trip ticket; you just won't be using the return portion. That's technically an airline policy violation, but who cares once you're on the bus. Plus, the US Border Patrol will pay less attention to you if they think you're leaving the country soon.

2. If proper burial/cremation is a concern for you, buy repatriation insurance before your fly out, so your remains (body) can be airlifted back to your home country. It's always a "what if something happens to me?" thing, and CTB is the last thing companies worry about.

3. Order SN from a river in Brazil. It's easily available there in the US as a meat preservation product. Hunters, bulk buyers, food preservers, and small businesses buy it from there all the time. Nobody will care if you buy it; you're hiding in plain sight.

I know Spanish, I could partially understand what you posted.

I don't know laws in Italy, sorry. According to what people on here say, SN is good and reliable. You just need an antiemetic while taking it, so you don't vomit. But if you can't order it directly in Italy, you will need to find other ways to buy it.
