Nobody Dast Blame Me

I bought four klonopin tabs from the DN two weeks ago and the pack got mangled in the Xmas rush. USPS taped it back together with a form letter saying sorry for the damage, couldn't be helped, make sure the sender packs better next time, blah blah blah. Hard to tell if the box was intentionally opened or searched, but the pills got through, no knock on the door.

Today USPS left a sticker telling me to go to the post office to sign for my Greek metoclopramide. This pack landed a day earlier than eBay predicted, so it must've absolutely breezed through Customs, right? I've never once had to go in and sign for a USPS delivery, but maybe it's just because it's international?

I'm assuming these two hiccups are pure coincidence, but they happened close enough together to make me a little paranoid. Would USPS really start watching me over one ripped domestic pack and another pack from Greece a couple of weeks later? I want to order some H to fill out my toolkit soon, but that's a much bigger risk.

I don't think USPS could knowingly let klonnies reach me without a controlled delivery, and I haven't heard a peep from Customs over the antiemetics. I'm sure this is just wasted anxiety, but would anyone care to puncture my paranoia? Does someone around here work for USPS? Can anyone help an old altar boy?

No reason given, just a sticker saying "sorry we missed you while you were out" and you can pick it up tomorrow or later. Doesn't even say who the sender was, just that it came from Greece. There's a box to check for a Customs fee but it's not checked and neither is anything else. I think my mailman is probably just lazy.

I also feel like any problem with Customs would've delayed things at their end, not at the local post office. The pack arrived in 6 business days, and there's no way Customs would throw together a pissant metoclopramide sting in that amount of time.

I also feel like the klonopin was almost certainly a real screwup with their sorting machines. The vendor's stealth was high-quality, and the notice was a common form letter, not a love letter. Like I say, I'm sure I'm just paranoid. I'm planning to go get my pack tomorrow, but I'll stash the pills just in case.

If there were a problem, you wouldn't be dealing with USPS, you'd be dealing with the police.

It's so sad and unnecessarily stressful to hear this. I mean, wtf, why can't adults simply decide to take our lives? All this control and all of this desire to meddle with our innermost affairs. No bs: one of the major reasons why I want to ctb is because I live in a world where the act of ctb is illegal. If we lived in a world without so much control over our lives, where leaders inspired instead of brainwashed and tried to keep us all as drones and slaves, we wouldn't want to die? Ffs this world is so stupid. Chemicals you need as an adult should be accessible to you.

I agree with the OP his carrier was probably just lazy and didn't want to bother waiting around. Ours are like that and walk to the door with a sticker, slap in on, and leave without trying.
I concur.

I managed to get mine with no problems. So that's strange.

All is well. They checked my ID and got a signature but no other hassle. Onward and upward.
