I want to start off with saying I don't agree with how Eric Starnes situation is described (actually that's why I think it might be unintentional) but I think Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand is basically a perfect analogy for the journey to CTB despite being a book championing capitalism. You can replace money with happiness and working/inovating with suffering. Going to the gulch is CTB. SS and it's members is John Galt and the strikers. The way Hank is treated by his family I have had literally been treated the exact same way by those who are genetically related to me. Dagney even has a near "death experience" and decides to go back to the gulch. Anyone who has read it, do you agree? Also, are there other "sleeper CTB" books?
