Is it unfair to let your decision to ctb hinge on someone else? Like, "if this person calls me back, then I won't do it". Is that puttning too much on that person? What do you guys think?
Yeah, that person is going to feel a lot of guilt.
My friends brother killed himself about two weeks ago, and phoned his boss about an hour before he hung himself. I bet not being able to answer is one of the biggest regrets his boss felt.

It would be different if it wasn't someone you knew. I heard a story about a guy who jumped from a bridge. He had decided that if someone smiled at him on the way there he wouldn't do it. I'm assuming the people who passed him never found out.
