Yes, those are my super real, super floofy boys. The orange & white is "Bumblemuffin" (oh yes, my daughter named him when she was 12) and the black is my most favoritest boy, "Jelly," as in, I don't think you're ready for this Jelly.

Jelly is 18 lbs of gluttony and I worry about his weight and the potential for the sugar diabeetus, but oh man, he is a big scrumptious pile of love.

I always thought cats were great. But I've been allergic my whole life, a real bummer.

Jelly reminds me of my friend's cat, Elliot. Elliot clocked in at 21 pounds (we weighed him at a dinner party). We referred to him as 'the world famous Holstein Cat'.

Here is my cat, Franny. Her sister was named 'Zooey' (for any Salinger fans out there)

Nice. I wish Jelly was a "big" cat, but alas, he is just morbidly obese. Plus he was neutered at 3 months (not my doing, I prefer to wait a year) so his face/head is really small in comparison to his big bulbous body.

Poor fella, he's shaped like a bloated tick. Very chill cat, unless he gets blocked from his food, at which point he will punch the other cats in the face.

OMG THOSE SOFT BELLIES!!!!

Just want to bury my face in them...facial trauma be damned.

Not only would they tolerate it, they would stretch out for chest scritches.

Mine has what I call "The Line of Death". Normally anything above the waist is soaked up with pleasure. If you get around the belt you get a look like "don't make me come down there"...anything below the belt is met with no warning or compromise...full on hand assault. The only exception is if she is so blepped out from soaking up chest rubs that her mouth is sort of hanging half open as they do and eyes rolled back...then you can sneak some tummy rubs in and it's ok. Just gotta read the signs.

A lot of cats have that hypersensitivity around their lower back & tail. Seems like they almost all do to some degree, you know?

My cat is 'tail positive' (my brother in law coined the phrase). She likes a gentle pull on her tail. Now remember, I say 'gentle'. As you know, the tail is part of the spine, so I guess what I'm doing with the 'gentle tail pull' is a sort of minor chiropractic adjustment.

This is definitely now the pets thread haha.
Here's my beautiful girl that I grew up with, since the age of 4, who was a rescue kitten. I can't wait to be reunited with her :)
