hi, so the package info is all in another language- to give a try- i.e. to see how it effects me, shall I just take one whenever or does anyone know the best time- day/ night, before/ after food, has there been many bad side effects reported from users on here?- as if I take it and get a bad reaction that would cause alot of trouble/suspicion- I dont live alone/ am being 'watched' and if I become unwell suddenly that would NOT be good. all advice appreciated, thks

To test, take a 10mg dose 30 minutes before meals only once, and see the results in your body. if no extrapyramidal reaction occurs, it's ok

If you check here https://www.rxlist.com/reglan-drug.htm it says:
'Acute dystonic reactions, the most common type of EPS associated with metoclopramide, occur in approximately 0.2% of patients (1 in 500) treated with 30 to 40 mg of metoclopramide per day. Symptoms include involuntary movements of limbs, facial grimacing, torticollis, oculogyric crisis, rhythmic protrusion of tongue, bulbar type of speech, trismus, opisthotonus (tetanus-like reactions), and, rarely, stridor and dyspnea possibly due to laryngospasm; ordinarily these symptoms are readily reversed by diphenhydramine (see WARNINGS).'
For my first trial I took the first 10 mg on a full stomach to cushion the blow, I had no side effects at all. The second dose 8 h later I took on an empty stomach as is recommended for metoclopramide, and I had no side effects either. I took 20 mg 8 hours later on an empty stomach. So I have tested that I can take 40 mg in a day, so I hope that the 30 mg stat dose will not cause anything either.

great, sounds like side effects are actually pretty rare then, so the odds are looking good.

(Imagine me saying this with jest as a whiny child) Whyyyyy is this posted in the off-topic section? I've been on this site for 2-3 months (lurking at first) and I have NEVER been to this neck of the woods. Man, I am glad i came today bc this topic is something I am very interested in.

Anyway, I got my meto today and am going to test it out in a few days, after the weekend, as I think everyone should, esp bc I am on a lot of meds and my health is poor so I'm worried about how the side affects will hit me, if they do. I suggest trying 5mgs first, instead of 10, at least that's my approach, slow and steady. I like the idea of taking 10mgs 8 hours later like Noctiva said, if I don't feel much from the 5mg. I live with my parents, so not really being watched like you, but its a small house and they notice a lot.

Since I've kept an eye on this topic, I feel like more users here than not have has some kind of reaction. Mostly it seems to be mild like drowsiness/dizzy. But then there are people who can't seem to take it at all. Hope we fall into the first group.

So I have tested that I can take 40 mg in a day, so I hope that the 30 mg stat dose will not cause anything either.
Damn, lucky you Noctiva, you should be good *thumbs up*

When you planning on testing it MeltingHeart?

Hey- yeah I wasn't sure if I should have posted in S thread or not- guess I felt like it was not specifically method/ S topic related enough but I guess it kind of is. Dunno when to test- I'm also at a parents house- main fears- being a little ill after it which could arouse suspicion- also since breakdown I have become something of an alcoholic - I drink everyday- so worried about the interaction- I need a drink as it's all I have for 'comfort' at the mo. I can't stop it. I guess I might try it tomo morn.

Alcohol - see this post from Neverod. He just CTBed last night.
He wrote: "Alcohol interaction with metoclopramide: Damn it makes you tired, dizzy and drowsy, it really amplified those effects from the meto. Would recommend if you have nothing to do the next day and want to have some fun a day before consuming the SN. (and ofc, if you like alcohol)."

I tested it by taking one 10mg tablet every 8 hours for 24 hours and had no side effects at all. There were no physical signs from taking them I didn't feel any better or worse. I feel quite unwell most of the time anyway so this may have played a part.

I take meto on prescription for various reasons. Basically as what its for an antiemetic. I have never had side effects tbh but I know the box says it cause drowsiness. I have taken it along side cyclazine another antiemetic that works differently and still been sick at my worst. Usually it works tho.
Meto acts on a few things, firstly it speeds up stomach emptying so if you are trying to keep down food or treating side effects it's best taken at least 30mins before what your ingesting. I assume thats why its more favourable for the sn route based on the stomach emptying speed in comparison to say cyclazine.

in terms if drowsiness; This would depend on your own sensitivity to medication that can cause drowsiness and wether your taking more than one type as well as how long you have or may have been taking drowsy kinds of meds. Even piriton (Chlorphenamine) a antihistamine can cause mega drowsiness in some ppl. Yet none in another.

10mg TDS (three x day) is the "standard dose prescribed.
Soz if I'm saying something you all already know, just thought i'd shead some light on it as I'm on it. Just my experience..

Fine? That's awesome! Everyone says drowsy, interesting, I have terrible insomnia and nothing works. If this does I might just enjoy some sleep.

You can always use the Google translate app. My whole package was in Greek. But I was able to read everything using that app.
