Made a call see a therapist a few days ago. Two rings; went straight to voicemail. Called again; straight to voicemail after a ring. I left a message, but they never called me back. Oh well

You may be right. I plan on letting my psychiatrist book me an appointment on my next appointment.
The times I tried therapy, it took a minimum of a week for the therapist to phone me back. Therapists are definitely not what I would consider a crisis resource.
