I consider doing fsh in the woods at night, but in darkness and with stress it can be easy to mess up knots.

What do you guys think about this solution, preparing the noose, and attach a carabiner to the rope with a scaffold knot or other equivalent strong knot.
And when a suitable tree is found it would be easy to just wrap the rope around the tree branch for a suitable height, personally I can't see any downsides to this if a good carabiner with a screw lock is used, of course it could slip a tiny bit so important to have enough clearance in height.

Any thoughts?
