I've actually heard amazing things about tramadol over antidepressants by others, I was prescribed this for pain myself, but it did not seem to affect my depression that I noticed anyway, but it was also a very low dose, so low that I had to take 12 of them to feel any better.

I was prescribed Tramadol for painkillers, but I'm sure they are used in multiples cases, depending on the situation. It's a very potent drug, and worked both for my pain and depression.

I take them for pain, but I haven't seen any differences in my depression, perhaps it has even gotten worse now (yay..) but I rarely take tramadol as I'd like to avoid any addiction at all and because they aren't prescribed to me.

I think there are medical studies on it though, I seem to remember reading about it at least.

Yep it seems to work for me. It releases dopomine in your brain.

I can only say what little I know.
I have found bags of Tramadol in the bin and offered them to (amongst others) a friend with a broken leg. She refused, cos basically, everyone agrees they're a heap of crap.

Yeah. A prescription bag.
As a long term opiate user,I also find they are worthless

Did you try Tramadol yet for depression? I've just heard of it for depression. OTC Coedine does help mine a little - I use it maybe once every few weeks.

There are 83 reviews on this link rating Tramadol as 10 out of 10 for depression: https://www.drugs.com/comments/tramadol/for-depression.html

Here is a forum of other reviews and discussion on the topic (which includes discussion of addiction risk etc): https://forum.drugs.com/featured-conditions/tramadol-depression-33499.html

I've just heard of it - I am going to try it next, I am just enduring another 5 weeks of depression on St John's Wort, to see if it helps me by week 6. Then I have to wait 2 weeks off St John's Wort, to try Tramadol.

Saying that, I have also just read that the opiate receptors might not be that receptive in people with depression (which might explain how boring I found Heroin when I tried it for the first and only time a few months ago)...but nevertheless, opiates do have hope for Treatment Resistant Depression - this website has a lot of interesting articles on this topic: https://www.opioids.com/antidepressant/opiates.html

Yeah I selfmedicate with it. It isn't a cure by any means but it takes away a lot of the mental suffering and gives you peace:) it's a bit annoying and not cheap to get through darknet but I definitely recommend it if you are desperate for relief. Much better than shitty ssris

Tramadol is the first thing doctors start you on if you have chronic pain. It works for a while and then you build up a tolerance and you move on to stronger pain meds. People say that they aren't addictive but I think they are. Just from what I've been through.
