I have a tourniquet, but only as a back up method in emergency situations or if nothing else is possible (WW3, earthquake....).

I'm in a psych ward atm so this would be my only method. I'm a bit of a wuss with pain, but I guess this is more choking?

That's why I wanted to talk to someone about it. Someone who may have considered this method and knows what to do. Sorry to hear that you are in a psych ward. Are you there voluntarily?
