Bleeding to death: reliably ineffective without major pharmacological assistance
Exit bag without either inert gas or sedative: not just ineffective, but with the certainty of hypercapnic alarm, counterproductive
Tylenol OD: probably ineffective and almost certain to result in lasting physical damage

Look, I understand your need to ctb --I'm here too-- but what you are doing is so counterproductive to ending your life it boggles the mind. I would much rather you not ctb, but if you're going to try, do so in a way that doesn't virtually guarantee your life will be worse after you fail --because with those methods, you will fail.

Yes, an overdose of asprin and sleeping pills and ibuprofen and Tylonal. A mark mark shaped like a T on my arm with the horizontal lines on my wrist and vertical line down my arm

Hanging works, assuming you have a strong enough ligature and it's tied to something strong too. If you've got that right the only chance of surviving is if someone interrupts but that's a risk with every method.

N is the best method imo. Just need money to buy it and luck that it gets through customs.

Exit Bag alone should be a good method.
Pure Nitrogen from an industrial supplier (welding gas) + pressure reducer + airtight bag and your gone within seconds

sounds like you know your methods arn't likely to work as stated in your post. I understand if you are in a lot of intense pain and are feeling like you have to do something - anything about it. people here advocate preplanning and using tried and true methods because they don't want to see people get hurt and have to live with the consequences. I only wish you peace with whatever you decide to do.

The trick is to put all your weight down at once. I couldn't get it to work either as it's very hard to overcome the survival instinct. Tourniquet and night-night work too if you do them fast enough

i will be honest with you


if you do it like this you will fail miserably. you wont die and you will end up in a psych ward where people will think you did it for attention or as a cry for help. if they are right there are easier methods to get psychological help

but if you really want to die you need another method and probably more preparation

Almost certainly won't work.

Bleeding to death is almost impossible. Getting seriously injured isn't. Exit bag without the gas is just suffocation and it won't work except possibly under very heavy sedation. Tylonal overdose could work if the dose is high enough (assume that reported lethal doses are too low) you'd need to avoid medical care for quite some time but how would you do that when you're bleeding ! And if it works, it will be a very long time till you're dead.

Combining ineffective methods won't do any good.
