So bear with me now, I know that most of you, or at least for me, hate it when people constantly try and dissuade you from choosing to take your own life especially when you've already exercised all options and have heard just about every argument as to why you should keep on living. And although these kind of people for the most part have good intentions, they're ignorant to the harsh reality that some of us face on a day to day basis.
This thread isn't about convincing you otherwise not to CTB. This thread is about giving you a sure hope, not necessarily to keep on living in this life (although that's preferable), but to make sure you have hope for a good future in the next life. Ultimately I want to share with you something that has personally given me peace of mind even despite myself wanting nothing more then to CTB.
If I were to ask you, "If you were to die today, God forbid, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven?" I would venture to guess that most of you wouldn't know and even some of you would say that "God isn't real" or that "Heaven doesn't exist" depending on your beliefs. Well I've got some good news for anyone that is willing to hear because the Bible says that:
In fact *Biblical* Christianity is the only religion that teaches that salvation is a GIFT and not a reward. All other religions under the sun, even including some denominations within mainstream Christianity) all falsely teach the popular concept that one must work for their salvation by doing good deeds, keeping the commandments, being a good person etc and as a result of that you end up being rewarded with salvation based on your performance.
Whereas Biblical Christianity is unique and distinct in that it teaches that salvation is a free gift and that it cannot be earned by any amount of good works that you do in your life. Christianity is also the only religion that offers a Savior, whereas other religions teach you to essentially save yourself.
Now I don't want to make this a long read but I just wanted to introduce this seemingly foreign concept to some of you who may have never heard this kind of thing before and so if anyone is intrigued by this idea and wants to hear more on this subject, feel free to PM me and I can share with you some more resources that go more in-depth. I have also attached a short little video if you have the time to watch it to understand a little bit more.
God bless you guys and Happy Thanksgiving from Canada!

Now I know what you guys might be thinking, if suicide is a sin so how can that be possible? Well the bible teaches that once you're saved, YOU ARE ALWAYS SAVED! So in other words there is nothing that you can do to lose your salvation once you have believed in the gospel, which is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
