I have this strange obession of not wanting to be found by my family.
I just think they couldnt take it. Plus a funeral is really expensive.

So instead of doing here in Europe (its freezing outside and I would take too long for my corpse to begin rotting) I thought about doing it in a forest in thailand where I could rot faster due to increased temperature and high humidity levels.

What are some other options for "a last vacation" where its unlikely to be found ?

Thailand is a good idea actually. Also, consider some neighboring countries like Cambodia (cheaper).

Or Vietnam ;) The PRG successfully used the thicc forrest to defeat the US.

I'm going abroad to CTB. I might get washed away in the sea and never found. My family never wanted me so they'll be relieved when I disappear. I'll be found if I decide on a hotel room instead but I'll be too dead to care.

If you choose the sea, chances of being found rather high. Bodies tent to wash up on shore. Unless the beaches are really rural or you're really far from the coast.

I don't really mind whether I'm found or not. Sure it would be nice to be found in a timely manner, but I'm not going to risk failure/backing out/mishaps just because I want to be found after death.

I want my family to know and I think about and tried a lot of times of doing it at our home. My culture and country is very close with families so kids never really "move out" at an age. It'll hurt them I know, but living for all these years with all these people without them or even understanding the pain sucks.

I was just going to drive to the mouth of the canyon call the cops tell them where I'll be then hang up fly up there and blow my brains out so no one has to find me they can just take the body and the gun I would probably do it standing In the river/creak so it'll wash most of the blood away so not much clean up but not a big enough one where I start floating downstream

All they're going to find is your body. They'll never find you.

Hell, if you're here they probably already lost you and will never find you even if you keep on living.

Yeah but from what I read so far its actually the disgusting bloated body which stays in their head and gives PTSD possibly.
I want to spare them this view.

I like the character that has these kinds of nice thoughts but I would kinda like the opposite.
People need to see this. Reality. When some rich asshole dies the whole planet mourns for weeks. How about we show them the truth? I can't stand these "consumerist" "happy" lies. "Everything is fine" Well no it isn't and if society doesn't change right now they might as well hand out rope.

Personally I don't want to be found though because I don't want anything to do with "civilization". I don't want my body to still be subject to bureaucratic sadism after I ascend. No more judgement. I'd like to be nourishment for wild animals if possible.

Who am I kidding though, best location I have is my shitty apartment because I am terrified of going out and have no money to go to the wilderness.

They would still hold a funeral, there would just be nothing in the coffin. Your best bet is to leave a note saying that you don't wish for them to spend to much on the funeral because you want to be biodegraded by the earth or something, or even just write it in your will.

Well I'm sorry to say, but body or not the grief will most likely never fully subside.

Hiding your body for good is very hard.

What I'm going to do. I'm taking a 250 km drive away from my hometown. There I will park my car in a small village and hike for another hour of 3. At that location I wil ctb in peacefulness without anyone close nearby.

After i go missing, the car will be found. And then it's a matter of dosages time before I'm found. It could still take a long time because it's a regio with many forrests.

This way i hide my body for a foreseeable time. Better then being found at home.

I've been putting more thought into this issue than all other issues combined. I worry a great deal about my 11 year old daughter. I've read scores of medical research reports on bereavement, especially reports that study any differences in the grief / bereavement processes between survivors of suicide (children, parents, friends left behind) and those left behind as a result of accidents, and other unexpected deaths. There do seem to be higher lifelong elevated risks of certain emotional, psychological, behavioral, and even physical health effects. In that way, Lint seems to be on to something. But all the studies talk in probabilities of long term harm and percentages of those surveyed. In other words, it's not 100% certain, in fact rather far from 100% certain that the ill-effects of having a parent or child or sibling commit suicide will be lifetime and the same for people who have to confront this particular trauma. And as witness to one who tells her story of finally getting over the suicide of her father (she was 21), here's a tale of hope https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/cope-father-apos-suicide-had-143000229.html

I don't want to be found. At all. Ever.

I've put a lot of energy and thought into it. I won't drive my car anywhere... I'll arrange to be picked up, either by my partner or by a driver (cash, not Uber or a taxi). I'll switch cars a few times until I'm somewhere far enough away that no one will look, and I'm not connected to that area in any way.

I thought of doing it in a dumpster so I would be collected with the trash and dumped in the landfill afterward, but there's too much risk I would be discovered along the way or at the transfer station. Any ideas on how I can go without ever (ever) being found?
