Liberty or Death

My perception of time has gone into hyper-drive. Especially in the last 2 years and with covid.
My life has become so extremely boring, there are no events in my recent past that serve as anchor points to give me any meaningful perspective on things or to "slow down" time.
On the 30th of April 2021 it would have been exactly 1 year since signing up to this forum. One of my first posts was "why are you still here?" :pfff:
No I fucking know why.. subconscious acceptance of a shit life and SI.

"Defeat is a state of mind, no one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality." - Bruce Lee

Relatable af. I never understood why people stayed here for years when I first posted. We do be accepting mediocrity and SI.

It's amazing how much one can take. I am slowly accepting and adapting to my new shit life.

I thought I was the only one who was suffering from time disorientation due to not have what I'd call "time markers" because there are no longer many significant events to point to specific dates.

I also never understood how people are that long on the forum, then I realized what happens when letting go life, also when trying to find a suitable method, maybe trying and failing, going into shockmode for a while, gathering courage again

Yes, I've been feeling that way too this past decade or so. I'd like to think the closer we get to death the faster time moves, until we reach the very moment and it all feels like a dream and we were never really sentient for any of it.

Seems more probable though that it's just dissociation, coupled with mundane repetitveness and gradually diminishing mental capacities, especially memory and awareness.

Either way, time isn't moving fast enough, and the thought of living another four decades to reach normal life expectancy terrifies me. I'm in my mid 40's and done already.

I'm missing whole years off my life because I've not been here.
