Pretty sad when a pro-choice website like this that tells you exactly how to kill yourself makes you feel better than any pro-life site. All the websites saying "suicide isn't an option," it clearly is. At least with this I feel like I have a choice to live instead of being forced to. Or am I the only one?

This website can get from therapy to addiction quickly. Make sure you don't blurr that line.

I don't view it as therapy, it's just that all these anti-suicide websites make things worse and make you feel like you're being forced to live if you don't want to. They make it seem like you're trapped and the only way out is to end your life. This site doesn't help, it's just that there's so many others that make things worse. And I can see how this website can become an addiction if you're on it every day instead of doing other things.

yeah society today is fucked up. It makes no fucking sense. Like society thinks it's ok for a 18 year old girl dating a 60 year old man. They view a 18 year old as a pedophile if they date a 17 year old.

Same thing with suicide. They view it as mental illness while murders as the evil.

We should change society and more accepting of death. Death is something that everyone will experience.

I think i have one of the best experience from both sides. I have beaten depression before. For me to beat it was self improvement- physically, mentally, etc. So from the pro life stand point there is a possibility of beating it for some people .

But from the pro choice standpoint sometimes there is no beating depression no matter how much you self improve. So sometimes suicide really is the best choice.

You just have to try all methods to beat it and if you can't then it's not your fault and the best choice is to ctb.

It's definitely the most therapeutic website I've ever been on. And maybe even more therapeutic then some therapy I've received, it always seemed weird that apparently it was okay for me to feel this way as long as I don't act on the thoughts. I was told when I was at a residential treatment center (RTC), "you might be depressed for the rest of your life. What matters is you manage it and don't resort to suicide." I just couldn't understand the logic in that.
