I created a Facebook account back in 2006 due to pressure from my co-workers.This basically means there is 14 years worth of personal data about me stored on some server.

No wonder I just have to think of buying a new pair of walking shoes, and Facebook bombards my feed with commercials about footwear. Facebook, that lovely, mind-reading piece of a.... Ahem.

The joke is on me though, because Facebook is as close I'll ever come to having a soul mate who can anticipate my needs.
