I read an article recently about a guy who miscalculated how much caffeine powder he was meant to weigh and ended up drinking the caffeine mixture (I don't know how many grams, but it allegedly contained caffeine the equivalent of 200 cups of coffee) and soon after it said he felt ill, clutched his chest as his heart raced faster, apparently he foamed at the mouth a little but then he was pronounced dead after paramedics tried to revive him for 45 mins.
It was clearly accidental, but it makes me wonder if anyones ever seen anything about caffeine related suicides? Like, is this a shortcut to inducing a heart attack? And how painful do we think it would be? Surely it couldn't be any worse than a regular heart attack, right..?
The story is easy to find if you Google "caffeine death uk"
