Today is my day I have just decided to ctb, cannot withstand the living pain anymore.
I will use full suspension with a blanket because this is the only thing I have right now.
I attached it to a door frame believing it will work out after testing it.

I attempted two times but unfortunately both failed as I am here writing.
The first time I don't remember how I saved myself, I was blacking out but in some way I managed to get back on the ground.
The second time I remember how SI kicked in and saved me because I was feeling like asphyxiating rather than peacefully losing consciousness. I hung to the blanket and took the chair back with feet.
I was rather still very conscious after short dropping from the chair. I believe the blanket being too thick was not hitting properly the jugular and the carotid making me suffer a lot.

At this point I am avoiding partial because I am afraid of any possible damage in case it goes wrong and for full suspension in that case I should buy a proper rope but I don't know where to anchor it.
I was thinking about SN also.
If someone could please PM me the source would be really helpful in case.

I am going to update you.
Partial suspension attempts done yesterday failed because I could not locate the sweet spot. Setup was ok but not the rest. Could not go unconscious and felt the exploding head effect multiple times.
I guess I should try with an higher anchor point and find the sweet spot above my adam's apple in case of another attempt.
Otherwise SN will be the way to go for me.
Anyway I will keep you updated.

See and this why why contrary to what some people on here would have you believe, full suspension isn't a guarantee (not just me coming across as a skeptic). Do you have any pain in your neck or throat given that you'd hung your body weight from it? Yer the blanket probably wouldn't cut into the area where your carotids are hidden as they are padded and spread the tension too much maybe.

I have had throat pain for the next two days then it went away writing right now.
I agree with the padding due to the blanket, next time it should be planned better with a proper rope and test out just in case to be sure it will not be pure agony.

I have had throat pain for the next two days then it went away writing right now.
I agree with the padding due to the blanket, next time it should be planned better with a proper rope and test out just in case to be sure it will not be pure agony.

This is related to full suspension indeed.
Then later I attempted also with partial hanging following the same thread but could not locate the sweet spot, getting just the exploding head effect. By the way in that case I used a necktie.
