There is a cliff that is about 670 ft (204 m) above the ground. My main concern is that below the drop resides a dense forest. I'm not so familiar with jumping other than, if it's high enough, and if it's pavement you're landing on, it guarantees death. Or am I wrong? I'd like to hear any thoughts about jumping. (e.g. locations)

I'm around 125 lbs (56.6 kg) and the closest town is about 40 miles (64 km). This does not include the ~20 minute hike. I believe it's safe to estimate the earliest rescue time to be over an hour or two, if there are people there. If no one is there, I'd probably have a time frame of 9-10 hrs before rescue arrives. Would that be enough time for me to die from my fall?

Finally, are there any other practices before jumping? Such as taking pills to alleviate pain, or having two ends of a rope in a noose (one for the neck & the other for the sturdy branch that may catch one). I know this is all a bit silly.

I'd appreciate any thoughts, ideas, and or suggestions.

The height is more than enough to be a successful cbt but the trees might break the fall and slower you down (although how much from that height is questionable), the grass might cushion the hit

The painkillers in my opinion are unnecessary, you feel excruciating pain for like 0.1 second

Do you know more about the pain in question?

670 ft is certainly high enough to be fatal if you land on concrete. But people have fallen out of planes and survived by crashing into tree branches on the way down or landing in hay, mud or water or landing on their feet (which also slows the impact on your internal organs enough to prevent death sometimes). So it all depends.
