thinking about going tonight

i know its hard to overdose on prescription drugs (sometimes), but i want to try. i have tons of prozac and abilify that i'm thinking about taking tonight. worst case, i feel sick, it doesn't work, or i end up in the mental hospital for a week or so. i'll be fine either way. i also have a lot of melatonin and sleeping drugs that i'm going to take to knock me out. thoughts ?

I know nothing but I don't think it's a good idea and the worst case isn't a week in a ward. You may get badly hurt. But of course I can't stop you. :(

I'd be terrified honestly, what if the pills put you into a vegetative state? To be fair though, I am far from the most knowledgable on this.

I wouldn't suggest overdosing even on prescription drugs, the risks of damage outweighs the chance of success. Do what you have to do, but I'm worried about tue method. Are you not able to get anything else more reliable?

Really can't recommend. You could easily end up with painful seizures on a prescription drug OD and go off to hospital for a long stay. There are better ways out than this even if you're limited on resources.

It's not going to work.

Imagine you're going to go jump off a bridge. But when you get there you clearly see that it's not high enough. So if you jump you won't die; but you'll probably either make the news, concern everyone, get really wet and ruin your phone, break your legs, whatever.

That's a dilemma I had this summer. It took me everything to not jump but I knew it would just make life even worse if I did.

Do you still jump?

So sorry but unfortunately I don't think any of that will work (or all of it). Do some more research. It could get you into the hospital but very doubtful it will kill you.
