It depends on how you define "easy", because there are multiple factors to consider, including but not limited to; pain level, accessibility, success rate, and so on. Overall, I would argue that, regrettably, no method is flat-out easy. Those methods which I personally consider the easiest (CO/He/N inhalation, certain drugs e.g. nembutal, opioid overdose), whilst being easy in terms of entailing little to no pain, are still fraught with other challenges, because for example one must know how to prepare/administer the drugs, and acquiring the necessary materials is difficult, mainly due to legality. Ultimately though the difficulty is subjective; what I personally find difficult, another may find effortless to achieve.

I personally hope that acquiring substances will be easier during the pandemic.
1) distraction
2) more people considering suicide or reckless behaviour (recreational drugs)
3) unlikely but would they recognize that some people's lives are now just wrecked beyond repair and the suffering and cost would be enormous?
4) Is it easier to acquire substances these days? If caught, there are MANY reasons why an already suicidal person would agressively seek out means given the compounding problems added to the pre-existing issues... is that not understandable by mental health and other authorities? Not to mention reduction in counselling services all-around and virtual consultations are just not the same, EVEN IF it did help.

I don't think there is an easy way out, just varying levels of difficulty. And you always can try to recover, that's usually the easier way out. Just take your time don't rush or over think things. I know sometimes I can make things a far bigger deal in my head then they really are.
