I accept death with open arms

I believe there is no meaning to life.
We have no purpose in this world.
We live then die.
Even with all the things we can make with our intelligence, it is all for nothing because, in the end, we will become extinct, and the Earth will keep living without us.
I don't know why I continue to live…
Do you all agree or disagree? Why or why not?

I agree. I also think that there is no meaning to life. However, I'd like to think that we create our own meaning, and that meaning and purpose is something that we find for ourself.

I also don't know why I continue to live either. Existence is honestly like a chore for me, I hate doing the mundane things just to live. Honestly, I'm only living because I'm scared of failing an attempt. I'd hate to be left with permanent damage. I'm not brave enough to try ctb bc of this

I'm right there with you at the moment. I unfortunately look a little too closely to let myself actually enjoy the mundane pursuits that obviously lead nowhere. I wish I could just enjoy life normally like other people, but I can't. So that leaves me trying to be spiritual, except I find I'm only capable of using spirituality as an escape. So I've been thinking about killing myself a lot lately because really I can't find an answer to any of this and I'm over this ride. It's confusing, it hurts, and there seems to be no answer in sight.

The meaning of life is the same as for playing a computer game, it's an entertainment and taking pleasure out of it.

Life is pointless and meaningless and nothing really matters. Realising the truth of this brings me a lot of comfort and helps me to stop giving a damn about most things in this dreadful existence.

Life is as pointless as a new pencil. Only the individual can sharpen it.

"Meaning" is also a relative term we humans came up with. It can mean different things for different people.

How I see it is we are just puppets of our brains. And most of our life we act on our impulses, avoid pain seek pleasure/dopamine etc. Sometimes our drives also lead us to act in ways that are not exactly helping us in the long term or at all. We can put ourselves in danger if our drives to do so are strong enough despite survival and self preservation instinct.

I also think we are really not going anywhere "meaningful" by reproducing and that all of our suffering is pointless logically. All of us are doomed to die/suffer the moment we came to be.

Sure sometimes we feel pleasure but the end is inevitable. When our brain stops "we" don't exist anymore. How we see ourselves is also in our head.

And you guessed right I don't believe in free will. I would maybe believe in self awareness but most people are too busy rationalizing their drives or what makes them feel better when they argue anything in particular.

Of course there isn't any, there could never be, existence is nothing more than a horrific and harmful mistake which tragically disturbed the peace of nothingness. Existence is just a futile cycle of meaningless suffering and senseless cruelty where existing beings are just waiting to decay and die, existence is just a process of waiting to cease existing which to me could never be desirable. I see existence as something best avoided as it just causes harm so unnecessarily.

And I believe that humans only ask the question what is the meaning as they have the ability to be conscious and aware unlike animals. I think that for many people the true meaningless nature of existence is difficult for them to accept which is why some ask the question and try to invent meanings but for me it's comforting how the eternity of death will inevitably erase this meaningless existence, I see existence as best forgotten about.
