Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My therapist has seen me really down again the last few weeks. She knows I won't try to kill myself because I get bad panic attacks whenever I try to do anything now because of PTSD from past attempts. She's still suggesting I go to the hospital to see if anyone has anymore suggestions on treatments for me. I'm not sure what to do here. Maybe they could help me this time, but I don't want them to put me on a 72 hour hold, cause with my arfid I won't up eating at all during my stay

If you're not at risk of killing yourself I think the hospital is a bad idea, especially as a way to find out about more treatments. Their job is to keep people alive not help them get better, it serves it's purpose but I don't see that helping in your case. Instead I would see if there are any rehab places near you that have mental health specific programs or at least are not 12 step and treat both mental health and addiction. Additionally assuming you've tried a variety of meds that aren't working and have been in therapy a while it might be worth it to look into TMS therapy. These are things that have helped me. There are lots of resources out there to try some might work some might not, I'm currently trying to see if I can get a service dog for my PTSD as it has been a lifelong struggle and other treatments while helping have not been enough. Money is the main barrier to a lot of treatments (in the US at least) so if that is not an issue for you it opens the options up even more.
