Many members have problems to find some things in their country for their method. In some EU countries, but also in some other countries, these things are easy to get.
Some members had the idea to travel to another country themselves to buy things there and bring them on the plane. This is dangerous if things are found in the luggage.
For example, SN is explosive and they might suspect you are a terrorist who is planning a terrorist attack on the plane or at the airport.
Therefore, two ideas:
1. If you are going to travel to another country to buy things yourself, then you could ship it to your country yourself instead of taking it on the plane.
2. But you don't necessarily have to travel to the country, because you can use a mail forwarding service such as MBE.
MBE has stores in all countries worldwide and they forward packages worldwide.
Prices and conditions are different in each country. You can find a list of all stores on their website. Just contact them and ask how much it costs to rent an address.
Examples:
1. You live in the UK. You can´t find a source for XYZ there. But you know a source for XYZ in an EU country. But this source doesn´t ship to the UK.
Rent an MBE address in an EU country, have the package with the XYZ sent there and MBE will forward it to you. MBE will also make the customs declaration that will be attached to the package. If the package is forwarded within the EU, customs is not involved. So no customs declaration is needed and the package will not be checked by customs.
2. If you live near the boarder to one of the EU countries or another country where sources are located, you can also just rent an MBE address, have the package sent there and you pick up the package yourself.
There are also other mail forwarding services near the boarder in Germany / Austria / Switzerland / Netherlands / Belgium / France / Denmark.
Some services don´t charge a monthly fee to use an address there. You only pay for the forwarding of the package. Or you just pay a small fee for receiving and storing the package and pick it up there yourself.
