Help the police just came to my tent...

As I was preparing the charcoal in my tent.
I was reported as a missing person yesterday and since I have previous attempts they sounded a little wary.
I'm not sure if i still have an opportunity to ctb at this point because my fellow campers were made aware (to hiw much detqil im not sure) about me by the police (earlier on when I was out)

You think it's too risky to proceed?
My head is too fucked up to think right now to think

I'm sorry it came to this, I can only imagine how stressful this situation must be.
If I were you I would not attempt for now, it's way too risky. The neighbouring tents will smell the smoke and intervene. There will be better opportunities..

Yeah idk anything about it really. I just wanted to respond as you seem like you needed it In that case there's always the future to CTB. If you attempt and they catch you mid with CO, they have proof you've tried to do it and could section you, plus isn't brain damage a danger? I'm not sure but this doesn't seem like a method to rush.

Over the years, I've had the police show up at my door to do 3 wellness checks on me. It can be stressful and embarrassing, in many ways.

Can you take a walk or do something to clear your mind a bit? It's good to get some space.

Hi! I am so sorry that everything has come this way for you, makes my heart break. I TOTALLY agree with @suicidesheep31 that it might be a good time to not do anything but lay one's head down and sleep as one might, here in the U.S. what we call a 72 hour hold.

You have always been such a loving and caring soul here on SS and I hope that you just have a good nights sleep and look at things in the morning. I have always thought of you as a person who is such a wonderful and caring person and I love reading your posts.

ctb is about the most stressful thing one can do. We can all get caught-up in "all or none" thinking.

There's the perhaps trite story that it took Thomas Edison 1000 tries to make a light-bulb that worked.

Every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.

Even if this doesn't work-out exactly as you might hope, there will be other possibilities.

Please try be patient with yourself! (And everybody-everything, all the conditions around you.)

UGH… just that language that they used infuriates me. "Do anything silly"… as if something that has been well-planned for months, and has been debated in your head more frequently than perhaps any other decision in your life is "silly." It belittles the action, the decision, and the emotional turmoil you're experiencing. This is why police should not be called to intervene in mental health matters. They are not usually the trained adequately to deal with such situations in an empathetic and considerate way. I don't blame them; it shouldn't be their job. But it's the system we have, and it sucks.
