• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As many of you already know, inert gases like Helium or nitrogen are the most peaceful and painless way to go.
The exit bag route is sadly, far from comfortable, nobody likes putting a plastic bag over their heads, this method requires a lot of technique, preparation and many things can go wrong, but the beauty of inert gasses is that it provides a painless and peaceful way to take the bus.
When I attemped my heart started racing as soon as put the bag over my head ( tachycardia), but it was definitely painless and very quick.
A room full or nitrogen would kill many people at the same time without them even noticing!.

It would be a dream for me to be able to do it without an exit bag:
- Imagine being able to just open a few tanks of nitrogen in your bathroom while taking a bath, listening to music and drinking some nice whisky.
- Imagine being able to drive to a very nice place high on the mountains and fall as sleep while watching the stars from your car.
I can think of so many situations that would be like a dream come true. God.

> Please note that this post is not intended to promote or encourage anyone to 'catch the bus.' The exit bag method is not as simple as one might think. In this case, I am talking about how beautiful it would be to fall asleep forever while doing things you love, nothing more. Those are hypothetical cases as it would require airtight spaces and an insane amount of helium/nitrogen. Please don't try this.

Should be made legal everywhere. If people had a button that allowed them to end their lives instantly people would treat each other way better, or people wouldn't care anymore and the world would turn into a nihilistic hell.

It sounds nice, but this is, unfortunately, just a dream that is almost impossible to achieve in practice.

I disagree with that, a plastic bag over my head wouldn't cause any discomfort to me. It's just a luxury when compared to perceptions from hanging or drinking a salty nitrite, for example.
- Imagine being able to just open a few tanks of nitrogen in your bathroom while taking a bath, listening to music and drinking some nice whisky.
I don't like strong alcoholic drinks and I'd rather prefer nitrous oxide to nitrogen, because the feelings would be more funny with it. Listening to music wouldn't make much sense, because loss of consciousness should come in just 20 - 40 seconds with a good likely working setup. Enjoying the perceptions from inhaling N2O beforehand and during the CTB attempt would be more than enough for me.

If there is tachycardia it is not peaceful at all. I hate tachycardia, it makes me deeply uncomfortable and beta blockers are not safe and can lead to other unpleasant sensations.
