Like the title said , yes we all have good moment but think about it , the human body is set to be a pain machine. As soon as something goes bad in our body = pain.

Even mentally we suffer a lot , the human body is just a big sophisticated pain machine.

Evolution designed us this way, unfortunately. Hence why illegal drugs are so popular.

I think we should have free drugs to get through this life even though that would mean life expectancy would go down. But i would prefer dying in my 30's or 40's painfree than go to 70 or more in pain.

I know a lot of people would sign on that but l know the 1% of the rich fuckers and pro lifers won't let that happen.

That's the cold hard truth of that hell society.

Ehh mental pain is so much worse then physical pain. If someone were to swap the mental pain I feel now with physical agony I would do it in a heart beat.

It really is, I see it as being such a replusive decaying flesh prison, there's nothing desirable about being a slave to suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured, to me having the ability to exist is such a terrible burden, it disturbs me how the human body can cause so much agony to be experienced with no option to just instantly free ourselves from it.

I think there are happy poor people, and the majority can't agree on a major cause of death by sucide

It depends on each individual's threshold of pain. Some people age better than others, don't get serious health issues, and live pretty well (some even into old age). But, you did raise some valid points. There is a lot of suffering in the world. Pain management (maybe even meds) and lifestyle choices (including exercise and decent food) help. Personally, I don't want to live till old age, but I do respect my elders (and I'm no spring chicken either tbh).

Suffering is the name of the game.

It's waiting around every corner of this life, trying to squeeze its way into your world any chance it gets!

The human body is nature's calibrated torture machine for our man made mind

Sometimes you can do all the right things like diet exercise, etc, and still get sick. It happened to me. I didn't drink, smoke, or do drugs and was always very physically fit but I got sick anyway. My body is torturing me. The sleep deprivation and unrefreshing sleep is the worst especially when people, society and life in general make constant demands you don't have the energy to meet but have to anyway. I'm beyond ready to not exist.

Ulitmately all pain comes from the brain, that doesn't help much to somebody in pain but it is the truth. There are instances of people that are allergic to anaesthetic and can be hynotized to undergo complicated and invasive surgery while awake and not feeling pain.

i think mental and physical pain can just be as bad as each other one can be worse than the other and vice versa

I've been thinking something similar recently. If I had the option to have adequate meds to manage my pain and help me live a better life, but they shortened my lifespan, I would 100% take them and it would make me less suicidal! Quality over quantity. I've lived over a decade in pain already and I feel like this disease is slowly killing me.

Happened to me - my chronic disease will torture me to death eventually. I see a lot of people who take less care of their body than I did and sometimes I get mad about that. But nature knows no fairness. I just had bad luck. I will be gone once it gets too bad.

I wish we had a holographic health bar- like in computer games but then- I suppose we wouldn't take it seriously. Pain is effective in the way- it definitely tries to get you to stop and try and fix whatever is broken. I just wish we could turn it down- or, arrange for it to give us a reminder in a couple of days or something. Gallstones was the worst pain I had and that was impressively- stops you in your tracks kind of bad. That kind of- you'd better do something about this or we're going to die kind of pain. I did actually delay getting help in the hopes I would die but it seems our early warning system is set up earlier than I could cope with.

Then it would be nice to use some cheats like instant death or no dmg + forever happiness
