But so many people are perfectly happy to go on living, and do everything in their power to make the world a better place, for themselves and for others. I wish such people only the best of luck. I am convinced that life can be truly beautiful, fulfilling and worthwhile for some people. I am equally convinced that people like myself will never be happy, and an early demise for people like me is in everyone's best interests.

Life eats life. For one fulfilling life there's 10 lifes of suffering.
To lead a good life you need resources and you will leave a big carbon footprint and suffering footprint.
Like when you travel by plane you push the planet further to hothouse effect or if you buy fast fashion clothes you profit from suffering of some person from a sweatshop and polluting at the same time...

To claim that everyone's life is worthless because "I don't see the value in my own life" is as disingenuous as claiming that "every life is sacred," and worthy of preserving at all cost simply b/c I find my own life worth living. I think there are very good empirical reasons your claim is more likely true (than false). Your opinion is, of course, largely unwelcome because the minds judging your claims tend to benefit in many ways from great systems of engineered suffering in place to support them--like factory farming or ocean desalination plants... Not to mention the entitlement many who reject your thesis (of the greater prevalence of suffering) have to ignore the consequential suffering of most other beings on the planet (like other beings' suffering resulting from decisions to build another shopping center/highway/cruise liner or that it's "acceptable" to painfully pollute and kill off other living things for the pleasure of those using these things and judging them to be "good").

Yet none of the above even accounts for scientists' modeling of the sheer brutality of most living beings' lives in the wild and the cognitive biases humans generally have when thinking of life (the animals and circumstances we disproportionately think of). Rationalizations notwithstanding, there's no reason unwelcome ideas must be false.

I support exploding the earth, but why destroy the other planets? For all we know there is no life on those planets or do you know something we don't?

Most people are "happy" through most of their life. By "happy", I don't mean everything goes right for them or they don't suffer the occasional sadness. I mean their life is livable or " normal". This is why most people are upset about the prospect of their death and would do anything if it would prolong their life.
It is a minority of people like those on this forum, who may contract a terrible mental illness(as in my case) or physical illness or some other tragedy in life which would make their life insufferable and no longer worth living. We are this minority.
