I've just seen a YouTube video which I was hoping not to see or rather the part of us which keeps us alive from day to day was hoping not to see. It's probably the best explanation and demonstration I've seen of what happens when someone hangs himself/herself. It's left me terrified and paralysed with fear. It's much more rapid and quicker than I thought. Too fast. And painless. The experimenter had barely a few minutes to remove the noose from the test subject's neck or she would have been dead. She wouldn't even have realised.

You know I can't because I'm also fractured into two opposing beings. Life and death. Darkness and light. That YouTube demonstration is a major blow to the survivalist in me.

I wonder how it was painless and fast. I've tried to hang myself with a belt but it felt like I was suffocating.

First you have to be At peace with yourself. 2. Acceptance, 3. Method in place . I don't many at all that made on there first try, SI kicks in.
