this is a stupid question i want answered but i wonder if its okay to PM others here that i wanna get to know,, i'm not sure if it'd be okay considering that i got the feeling others probably wouldn't wanna make connections here. Im only askin because theres this guy i wanna get to know, seems like cool guy from the small interaction i had with him yesterday

Well PM isn't available until you posted enough so they may or may not be able to see your PM or PM you back. Other than that I think you should unless they have in their bio "please do not message me" or something like that. If you're not feeling bold enough just reply to them saying you want to PM them

+ starting a conversation is more notif friendly jsyk, but you can do a private chat as well. i definitely like the chat ui more

u can always end it with 'feel free not to respond if youre not interested in making friends on here'
