It doesn't look hard. Why has no-one done this? There are legally obtainable precursors that (I would imagine) would pay themselves of by quite a bit

Oh, I thought before it is easier to get N from barbituric acid. N is derivative of barbituric acid. Nice information, thank you!

If I'm completely honest, I can get the lab equipment, I was once offered free access to a top of the line "Breaking bad" type lab (I had a look around it was really something) in exchange for a certain kg of MDMA per week. I might look into this some more, cheap N is needed.

I thought about this too, but I am in Ireland. Could not even order equipment from China, all mail services suspended due to coronavirus. Any chance of getting from UK/Germany/US?

I don't think it would be worth the risk of selling it to people. You would get caught real quick since people would be offing themselves with your product, drawing police attention to you sooner.
The lab I was offered was in the UK, I can't be too specific but it had everything I could want.
This is also something I am slowly taking into account. The weight of the synthesis and getting it out alone could crush a man
edit: also the mdma would bring more heat down. Alright now I get why this hasn't been done before lmao

I don't think it is about selling, it is more about curiosity. My buddies once bought everything to synthesise amphetamine. And it was the only one time they used the equipment lol. We are used to buy everything ready-made, it is not the same as cooking dinner.
Idk how much does the equipment cost, but it is possible all the necessary things will cost more than just two bottles of N. It is not that easy to get pure N from the first try. You will need much more reagents in case if you mess up.

Ahaha! I learnt this trying to do simple stuff outlined in the PiHKAL&TiKHAL books, if you aren't a master chef you can follow the recipe all you want, but you won't know when/if it goes wrong!

Ye, and you need to have some equipment to check the purity. I guess the first time it will be a huge mess, non-sterile thing which will cause diarrhea sooner than euthanasia lol

Please search the forums for Homemade Nembutal. I did some research a while back and found that it's quite tough to do without the protection of a fume hood. It involves heating a lot of chemicals to high temperatures over long periods of time.

please read my post, this is not a kitchen synthesis. I have access to a lab with fume-hoods, fumigation chambers and lots more, it is more than enough to synthesize lsd and mdma, many of shulgins stuff too. I thought hey what's the actual process of synthesizing N? It would work but would take practice runs and also I'd have to produce mdma to get acess to the lab. It's a very clandestine thing that I'm not taking lightly, it would be too much. It won't happen dw lol.
