Does anyone else think that Switzerland would be the easiest place to commit suicide? Any insights on how I (one) could go about arranging a suicide in Switzerland? Is anyone a member of Dignitas?

Don't think it's easier if you haven't a terminated ilness.

Not from Dignitas, but a member from exit in CH.

Not easy, not quick to get there [even if you have all the papers about your terminal condition]
Very expensive too [several thousand Euros]

So essentially you help fund the group by being a member and have an option should you get a terminal illness?

how did you find the cost? are you paying dignitas to assist in suicide directly or is it just like a really expensive hotel

This is your membership fee. Does it cover the procedure when the time comes?

update
The actual costs of procedure + cremation
are listed and explained here [Dignitas website]:
Information on the costs associated with an accompanied suicide with DIGNITAS

You have to be a member for minimum 3 years. Then they will cover the procedure.

You can also paid only one time in your life CHF 1000.-.

You don't need a terminal illness, just it's easier to get someone to help you if you have a terminal illness like Dignitas. Technically people can help you aslong as it's not selfish motives/does not benefit them in any way. (Give you the drug but you have to administer it yourself) etc. You don't actually need to be sick at all, it's could just be philosophical reasons. However if you have no illness whatsoever it's advisable to contact Swiss lawyers, groups to make sure.
