How do I get over my survival instinct. I want to die but evertime I have the courage I choke. Please give advice

Alcohol, meditation, music, and drugs (if you don't care about legality or have prescriptions) can help. Also, sometimes it may not be possible to fully overcome the survival instinct, however, if you manage to suppress it enough to control it even temporarily, it may be enough for you to go through your attempt without hesitation.

I find that alcohol and drugs will remove the panic from the survival instinct, but only at levels that often enough dull your regular abilities to function and catch the bus. Unfortunately it takes a determined person to catch the bus. I wish it was easier, Id have been gone 2 years ago. If you really need it to happen, you will be strong enough on your own. Otherwise you arent ready. Consider it a final boss you gotta level up for.

From experience I can say this.
Wait until you are ready.
There is no reason to push yourself to do it. Don't force it. You will do it on your own when you are ready.

Violent method involve SI. Where hanging, drowning, cutting fails, method involving indirect violence can be a solution (N, SN, ...)
