Tonight's sunset along the Pacific coast. I've been watching lots of sunsets lately, as my own life will soon sunset later this month.

(sigh) I think sunsets are going to be one of the things I will miss the most in this life.

When I think of things like sunsets, and other things in nature that are so beautiful that I will miss out on, it makes me want to continue on. That's part of the evil seduction. I realize that now. It's pure evil, keeping us thinking there is something worthwhile here.

Tonight's sunset might be my last. Planning to CTB Saturday. The coast has been very foggy lately but tonight it cleared. As you may know we have dozens of wildfires in California, thus the brilliant color. As I was watching it set it struck me, my ashes will be scattered nearby in the Pacific Ocean.
