A guess from something I read - men use guns for suicide and women use pills.

I think women have been catching up in something I read recently. I had a friend ctb with a firearm, and I'm sure she got it illegally. I can't get a gun, but I would definitely keep it as an option if I could.

That stat is false, it accounted for a single woman that attempted multiple times as different women attempting it. Also men suicide 4x times more than women

method-used-alot of women try OD- some attribute this atleast in part to women natural tendency to have slightly more vanity when in comes to how they look -in the sense they dont want to be seen in a horrible state-though of course thats slightly silly-as yr not exactly gonna be looking yr best after an overdose-anyways-thats not exactly my opinion just a therory I have read multiple times in think pieces on suicide men vs women.
