There's this suicide scale I use that I wanted to share. I thought it might help someone else. (If it's already been posted, I'm sorry. I haven't seen it.) I don't remember where I found it, but I've used it for awhile and think it's a useful communication tool for my support system.
My best friend knows I'm suicidal and checks on me daily. I gave him a copy, and now he knows exactly how I'm feeling without me having to find the words. Because sometimes I can't; emotions get in the way and I can't say what I mean. But with this little comic, I can just say, "I'm a 9" and we're on the same page. And we can figure out what to do.
It won't help if you don't have someone you can trust like that, but maybe even if you find a partner on here it would help.
