What is the survival rate for shooting yourself in the heart? I was thinking about shooting myself in the head. I worry that my .22 is too small a caliber. I do have a 45. That would do it for sure but kinda wanted to annihilate my heart since it's the reason I am here.

From what I know you have to be pretty accurate, if your aim's off it will most likely still be fatal, but would be a slow and agonizing way to go.

Most people think the heart is smack middle of the chest which it's not. Random fact. It's actually slightly to the left.
