Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A thread for discussing any suicide news that you come across.

I can't really judge her to be honest, especially because she chose a painless method (carbon monoxide) to kill herself and her disabled daughter.

But... how??? Sometimes these news articles pop up and make this shit look easy. How did she generate enough carbon monoxide at home in her bedroom?

RIP

The immediate reaction from me was anger, but then I remembered the disabled children dying in foster care and under the care of unaccustomed family members. I hope it was painless. I just wish someone would have helped the mom instead.

The daughter "was blind, non-verbal and had severely restricted mobility meaning her mum was her full -time carer". I can sympathise that she would have been difficult to care for, and time consuming, leading to isolation. And it seems to have been painless.
