So I stumbled upon this website after googling "how to hang yourself." Though I am too chicken shit to try to hang myself, I am making a "suicide kit" consisting of SN and an antiemetic so far. I don't think I'm quite ready to ctb any time soon. It's a weird consolation to have my kit on standby though, like I know it is there if things do get bad enough. I don't know if it's my borderline personality that makes me think about ctbing whenever I am overwhelmed by my emotions or something else, but I'm trying to stay alive for my family "one day at a time."

Welcome to SS! A lot of us are doing exactly the same. I have had SN for about six months now in my cupboard. I've also got the debreather (though don't know if it's legit) they provide a little bit of comfort and reduce my anxiety a little. It's good to know they are there should I need them in future.

Hey. Welcome :)

It is a great feeling to have sn handy, right? I'm very sorry you're suffering so much that you need it, but I'm glad that you have something to end your suffering if need be.

I hope that things get better for you. Hopefully you find peace and happiness one way or another. I too am living for my family right now. It's hard, right? I'm at my breaking point.

Best wishes dude.

Hey. What about the debreather may not be legit? Is it simply a prebuilt nitrogen exit bag?

I'm just wondering. It sounds very interesting! 2 methods on hand is a really good idea. I assume you'd rather use the debreather? Have you considered that sn has a lower risk of permanent damage if you're found early?

I myself have sn and a rope for partial on hand. I think sn is my way to go.

Best wishes in the meantime :)

The debreather you have to keep it sealed unless you are going to use it immediately. It actually is more complicated than an bag and has more parts to it... SN I have digestive problems so worried there will be pain... but I'd still take it if I had absolutely no option I'm still glad I have it.

I have SN, rope, combat tourniquet and a stash of propanolol. Not sure having them provides relief since I don't want to have to use any of them, but I suppose it's kind of nice to have an exit just incase.

Ive done it long before it was a thing lol
Hundreds of pills stashed behind canvases and in drawing folders, climbing ropes, ropes made of strings / cables etc, a collection of razorblade 5 packs etc. Also my will and suicide note, written digitally and on paper.
I have since gotten rid of all that because I want to recover.

I know sn can be bad for people with stomach issues. I really hope that whatever method you use is as painless as possible for you..that is if you do choose to end your life. I really just hope you find peace.

Best wishes.
