suicide is inherently sad

i am in no way against suicide in anyway, but i do believe it is the saddest thing a person can do to themselves. it means that person was failed by this world and more importantly the people around them. every instinct in the human body is against suicide, it requires a great deal of courage and determination. so imagine a person being in such mental turmoil that the only escape they have is taking their own life. it's incredibly heartbreaking. i will never understand how heartless some people act when someone they know commits suicide, calling it "a selfish act" or "a cowardly act". saying "they should have thought of their parents, family, friends". humans can be so incredibly selfish. even when someone ends their own misery it is somehow an attack to them.

Yeah i think i agree. People have to be in pain to do it. If you were enjoying your existence here, it wouldn't happen.

People who call it selfish are probably ironically selfish themselves. They want people to stay alive so they wont be sad. What kind of logic is that?

it is quite literally the worst feeling in the world. people that blame others or ridicule them for committing have obviously never actually felt the horrific despair that a lot of us have.
