It would be amazing committing suicide in this forest.

Right?! I just watched a somewhat shitty movie with Matthew McConaughey that revolves around that forest called Sea of Trees.

I'm so sorry, are you okay? Hugs if you need them.

However would totally stay in this forest. The Japs always seem super odd to me in regards to things like this but it's also pretty cool. I like the simultaneous creepiness and sense of unity.

Saw a documentary on it. Eye opening to say the least. The amount of pressure some people have in Japan is intense. Another good one to watch is those folks basically living in internet cafes.

Do you have a link for the documentary about the people living in internet cafes? I find it so interesting all the stuff from Japan like Hikikomori.

I don't think there are any predators, did a search and it seems the largest animals there are deer. Any wildlife would likely want to stay away from humans, anyway.

I have been fascinated by Aokigahara forest for a few years now.
It is so eerie and must have a magnetism for those who feel they are lost.

Death in this forest wouldn't even feel like death. Just an spiritual transition to somewhere else.

Just for the sake of accuracy, bears inhabit, which will attack humans. There are magnetites in the forest fairly enough to alter the direction of a magnetic compass by one or two degrees. Some say you can not use GPS, but the truth is you can as long as you catch the signals, which may be lost because of the density of trees. If you want some spiritual feeling in Japan, the choice would be Yaku island or Shirakami Sanchi, both of which are somehow depicted in Miyazaki anime and have deeper forest.

You say you want to go there, but I couldn't disagree more. To me, that forest is such an incredibly scary and eerie place. I'm too much of a pussy to go in lol.

Wikipedia says there are Asian black bears in this forest. Most do stay away from humans but it will not be easy to relax in the sea of trees knowing that some bear can suddenly pop out of nowhere and rip the flesh off ur body. Every sound will make me jumpy.

Sun bears. They eat ants. You're talking about fhis creature I think. But I'm pretty sure they're not in this part of Japan either way
