Hi everyone, I'm new in this forum, I'm live in Western Europe, I'm 19 yo, and I want to gain some knowledge on suicide by hanging, and I also want to know what's your thought on this peaceful, and calm location in the forest I've found today. I will go into detail and give the reason why I want to ctb in another thread.

Here's the video:

Hi! Will you do partial or full suspension? What do you want to know about hanging? The tree looks good if you are not more than 100kg. Also greetings from europe

Though your weight is low, rope should be enough strong. But the most important is to adjust length of rope, so when you kick off the stool (or whatever support) you remain hanging not touch the ground.

I would use a 10mm Nylon rope, placing the knot at the back of your neck, the rope above adam´s apple. Use a not to tight bound hangman´s knot for full suspensions it´s better than a slip noose, cause you don´t need to compress the neck that much as in partial hanging. Tighten the noose good around your neck before jumping into the noose
Wish I could also hang in this beautiful forest

Rope might be even thicker 15-20 mm

If he/she is so slim (60kg) 10mm would be better, cause it closes the arteries easier. If it should be a long drop with broken neck (nearly not possible toperform at a suicidal hanging), then 15-20mm would be better

yes, long drop is unlikely, possibly good friction is more important than thickness

The rope should not be stretchable.

Nxlon works good, I knew a woman that hanged herself with a 10mm Nylon rope. It was told she looked as she died peaceful

Hello Infinite Sadness. That's a beautiful place, but doesn't seem especially remote. What time of day are you planning, to be sure no one finds you too early?

I hope you saw the "megathread" about hanging in the "List of resources" thread. You'll find lots of advice there.

I hope things go well for you.

I don´t know. if it would be nice to meet other people that hanged themselves. And if it should be a beautiful place full of love no suffering, no depression, no loneliness

A belt is not the best option. If you are not too heavy it could work, but it´s not as good as a rope to close your arteries

I have like 50kg. Im only worried that it would break. I "tried" it once and I got to point where i felt dizzy and numbness but i stopped bc i was just trying if it could work

Potentially it could work. But partial requires to be very determined and to cope with survival instinct.
