Does anyone happen to have access to this article? Does it provide any insights?
I'm wondering what methods were used to ensure "rapidity, certainty, or comfort". I know inert gas is often suggested, but as that is expensive and out of reach for me, I'm researching other techniques.

Maybe drugs to pass out before hand, but inert gas is about it.

I tried to handcuff my hands behind my back with rubber bands holding a ziplock bag over my head, that was the most terrifying thing in my life. Luckily my hand slipped thru the cuff and I was able to get the bag off, but the horror of it still lingers.

For what it's worth, I tried argon gas and that didn't work either, but I'm not sure why. I think my canister wasn't pure but mixed with CO2.
